*DIVISIONS OFFICIAL FUNCTIONS* MARKET PROMOTION AND FACILITATION DIVISION (MPFD) To handle the conduct of trade fairs/exhibits/congresses and other events in the local and international markets. To handle the conduct of market linkage activities between buyers and producers. To prepare promo collaterals and other information materials. To assist in counter trading activities. AGRIBUSINESS AND MARKETING INFORMATION DIVISION (AMID) To manage the maintenance and development of the AMAS website. To institutionalize and promote E-commerce and E-services thru the AMAS website. To consolidate relevant agribusiness information for dissemination thru the web. To evaluate and monitor programs/projects on agribusiness funded by DA such as ACEF, etc. To prepare the Accomplishment Report for AMAS. AGRIBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATION DIVISION (ADCD) To prepare and update the Regional Agribusiness Profile. To assist in the development and monitoring of Agribusiness Development Centers in the regions. To coordinate the conduct of trainings on product quality improvement, commercialization of technology, agribusiness concepts. To coordinate and monitor activities of the AMADs, and the marketing units of DA-AAs/Bureaus. AGRIBUSINESS INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT DIVISION (AIDD) To be in-charge of the development of the identified commodity champions. To handle market intelligence activities to further develop the products and markets of the commodity champions. To handle the institutionalization of the National Marketing Umbrella (NMU). To coordinate/participate in trade missions. INVESTMENT AND ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION (IEDD) To undertake investment promotion activities. To take the lead in Enterprise Development Activities such as conduct of Agribusiness Clinics. Effect long-term Investment/Market Linkage Activities through various modalities such as Joint Ventureship, Contract Growing, Corporative Arrangement, etc. Agribusiness Parks.
