Pomelo is abundant during the month of October until December. This year, production declined due to the El Nino phenomenon. It
was noted that production is not stable. Production of citrus plants particularly pomelo is being beset by problem like virus infestation. Markets 1. Domestic Market Forty per
cent (40%) of Davao production goes to Manila, 20% is transported to Cebu, Dumaguete and Iloilo via Cagayan de Oro. The rest of the volume is consumed in Mindanao. |
