BIG TREASURE CHEST
for Future Kids

Just imagine. Fifty two years from now, children from all over the world will gather around to open a very special treasure chest. And what will be inside?

They will find messages from the children of 1997! Your messages! Imagine that! By then, most of you will be around 60 years old.

Just what is this all about? This project is called the "BIG TREASURE CHEST FOR FUTURE KIDS" and it is spearheaded by the Philippine Children's Television Foundation, UNESCO, UNICEF and the Club of Rome.

It's kind of a time capsule really where you can tell the future kids of planet earth your most important messages.

These messages can be an image, written words, an object or even a sound that is very significant and important to you. All messages will be accompanied with a written explanation on why today's kids want the children of the future to have them.

These messages will be collected in a National Treasure Chest to be kept by the Council of the Welfare of Children until the year 2050.

Kids from 9 to 12 years old who want to have their messages included in the "Big Treasure for Future Kids" can submit their message with their name, address, age, telephone number, school address and photograph to:
