PCTVF was a member of the Regional Organizing Committee and National Steering Committee of the Asian Summit on Child Rights and the Media held at the Shangrila's Edsa Plaza Hotel, Manila last July 4-6, 1996.

PCTVF has participated in international conferences on children, television, and education like the Asia-Pacific Seminar on Children and TV (Indonesia, 1990), Prix Jeunesse Roundtable (Munich, 1992), International Symposium on Children and TV (25th Year of the Japan Prize, Tokyo, 1993). PCTVF is also a participant in "Shaping the Future" (Manchester, 1994) and the World Summit on Children and Television (Australia, 1995), the Better Kids TV Seminar on International Co-productions in Europe and New Media for Children (Athens, Greece, 1995), the Puppets for Development Workshop (Bandung, Indonesia, 1996), and the Programming for Children Conference (Hong Kong, 1996).

PCTVF is a founding member of WATCH, the World Alliance for Television and Children formally launched in May 1994 at the Prix Jeunesse in Munich.

PCTVF is an adviser to the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Children's Program Item-Exchange Meeting, the First World Summit on Television and Children in Melbourne and is a member of the International Organizing Committee for the Second World Summit on Children and Television in London.

PCTVF also conducts workshops on scriptwriting, tv production and puppetry within the Asia-Pacific region in cooperation with international partners.
